libmail-sendeasy-perl software package provides Perl module to send plain/html e-mails through SMTP servers, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libmail-sendeasy-perl
libmail-sendeasy-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libmail-sendeasy-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libmail-sendeasy-perl *
You will get with libmail-sendeasy-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
